Mountain Creek Retreat offers a very secluded property with a year-round running creek. Sit on a picnic table next to the creek or around the firepit. We are dog-friendly. The fenced property allows your dog to sniff and explore safely!

Mountain Creek Retreat
Stay in the Nantahala National Forest as our cabin is secluded with your own 2-acre campground where you can relax at a creekside picnic table or at the firepit. Peaceful with no nearby neighbors. As you sit on the front porch you will see deer, turkey and all of the local wildlife. All of this privacy and only 5 minutes from downtown Murphy as well as the Harrah's Casino.
There is so much to do in the mountains, hiking, biking, motorcycling, kayaking, boating, rafting, golf, train rides, vineyards, breweries, shopping and so much more!
You will have a paved circular driveway that will allow you to pull up to the front door and for motorcycles a garage to park in.
Our cabin offers all of the modern conveniences ( Internet, Direct TV, and an outdoor grill) as well as a wood burning fireplace in the main area. Our front outdoor porch is the perfect place for a barbeque and our outdoor deck offers prime wildlife viewing, a morning cup of coffee and a good book, or an evening glass of wine. Our full kitchen includes all modern appliances and fully stocked with everything needed for preparing meals.
Downstairs is a master bedroom with a queen bed and full attached bathroom. Upstairs is a loft bedroom with 2 twin beds and an attached bathroom. There is also a queen sleeper sofa in the living room. The cabin will sleep six.
There is also a garage for parking motorcycles or sports cars and your gear.
We are pet friendly and the property is fenced so your pets can sniff and roam safely!
